The short version: PickGauge is an informational tool that helps you organize numbers for pick'em pools. It doesn't take bets, hold money, or guarantee any outcome. Nothing here is betting advice, and nothing it shows you is a promise about what will happen in a game.

What this is

PickGauge is a decision-support tool for against-the-spread pick'em pools. It pulls in market lines, prediction-system data, and numbers you provide, and surfaces them in one place so you can compare them and track your own picks. It is not a sportsbook, does not facilitate wagering, and does not process or hold any money on your behalf.

No guarantees

Every number this tool shows — model lines, edges, cover-probability estimates, "key number" tags — is informational only. None of it is a guarantee of accuracy, and none of it is a promise about how any real game will turn out. Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain; a favorable "edge" reading is a statistical lean based on historical data, not a prediction you should treat as certain.

Eligibility and your responsibility

You're responsible for knowing and following whatever laws apply to you regarding sports pools, contests, or wagering in your own jurisdiction. If participating in a pick'em pool isn't legal where you are, don't use this tool for that purpose. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use it.

Your account

You're responsible for whatever happens under your signed-in account. Don't share your login, and let us know if you think your account's been compromised. How your data is stored and used is covered in the Privacy Policy, not here.

Acceptable use

This tool runs on shared, metered infrastructure (a rate-limited odds API, shared hosting resources). Please don't attempt to abuse, scrape at scale, or interfere with that infrastructure, or attempt to access another user's private data.

No warranty

PickGauge is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. It's a side project maintained by one person, not a commercial product with an SLA. Bugs, downtime, and incorrect data are all possible; use your own judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PickGauge and its operator aren't liable for any losses — financial or otherwise — arising from your use of this tool or decisions you make based on it. That includes losses from picks made in a pool, from inaccurate or delayed data, or from any downtime or bug.

Changes

These terms may change as the tool evolves. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
